Application:

PT-HY4150 Environmental Stress-Cracking Tester is used to determine the susceptibility of etPT-HYlene plastics to environmental stress-cracking when subjected to specified conditions and in the presence of environments such as soaps, wetting agents, oils, or detergents, etPT-HYlene plastic may exhibit mechanical failure by cracking. The principle is: Bent specimens of the plastic, each having a controlled imperfection on the surface, are exposed to the action of a surface-active agent. The proportion of the total number of specimens that crack in a given time is observed.

This machine conforms to ISO 4599, ASTM D1693, GB/T 1842, etc.

 

Features:

It consists of constant-temperature bath, nicking jig, bending clamp, transfer tool, etc.

The constant-temperature bath can be independent test equipment to be used for conditioning test specimens
